Overview
A new update is live! This one focuses on making the game run smoother, plus a few fixes. Here’s what changed.
Smoother Gameplay
- The game should run more smoothly with less stuttering, especially around the airport and Marova.
- Moving through the world should feel cleaner, with less hitching as new areas load in.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a problem where extracting through a manhole could freeze the game. If something goes wrong now, you'll just stay in the match instead of getting stuck.
- Fixed several crashes, including some that happened when closing the game.
Behind the Scenes
- We made a bunch of small tweaks to keep the game stable and running reliably.

Reaper Actual Patch Notes — May 29, 2026
Early Access Begins | Build 1
Overview
This is it: Build 1, the very first time the game's been in your hands, and we treated it like the foundation it is. We tore into the engine and rebuilt large parts of it, opened up new places to explore, smoothed out how everything plays, and swept up a stack of bugs along the way. Some of these changes you'll feel the second you load in. Others are quiet groundwork for what's coming. Here's everything that's new.
New Ground to Cover
Four new areas just came online. Go wander Bayside, Channel View, Goat Bluffs, and Highroad Junction. And if you find yourself near the Vault: the gates are shut now. Make of that what you will.
Faster, Smoother, Lighter
This was a big performance build. Frame rates should climb across the board, with the airport - and lower-end rigs especially - getting focused attention. Under the hood, we reworked our level-of-detail systems (HLODs) so the world streams in cleaner and runs lighter, and refreshed our DLSS support for an extra boost. (No DLSS 5.0 yet - it's on the list.)
A Fresh Coat of Light
- New Lumen toggle lets you flip advanced lighting on or off - bottom of the first Settings tab.
- The sky has been reworked. Worth a look up.
- Relit the area out front of the terminal.
- Cleaned up shadows across the board - pulled them off small debris and retuned them around the airport.
- Eye adaptation reacts more gently now, so bolting from shadow into daylight won't blind you.
- Night vision holds its own against bright light sources.
- Eased off the heavy rain for now - you'll still catch a drizzle while we keep tuning it.
- Player and weapon animations are smoother and read better in motion.
Crafting, Clarified
- Materials now line up properly with their tiers.
- Every material carries an effect description, so you can see exactly what it does before you spend or craft.
- Added new recipes to the table.
Cleaner UI & Loot Tweaks
- Reworked the Missions view - what's available and what's in progress is far clearer at a glance.
- The Heat meter has a new look and a new home on screen.
- Adjusted loot in and around the airport.
Bugs, Handled
- Killed the phantom "reload" prompt that popped up when your reserves were bone dry.
- Reload alerts now count your total ammo, not just what's in the mag.
- Your paper doll keeps up with your loadout now - swap guns and it updates like it should.
- Squashed a batch of crash bugs.
- Audio slider settings finally stick between sessions.

Reaper Actual Patch Notes — November 24, 2025
Version 1.2.0 | Scheduled Release
Overview
Several bug fixes in addition to some new content adjustments/updates are contained in this release. We performed an inventory and vault wipe and gave everyone a first time grant for their vault in this release. We did not wipe any reputation work or in game money earned.
Improvements
- Unreal 5.6.1 engine update
- Added animation support for armor plates
- First person SMG empty reload updated
- NPC pathing updates
- Added /time in chat to see what time it is in Marova and in your time zone
- Scroll bar in chat so you can see what people said instead of it disappearing after a period of time
- Increased performance via lighting and sound adjustments
- Hit reacts now show at extreme distances if the player is in your visual range (naked side or through scope)
- Made some adjustments in the animation graph and the locomotion spaces so that animations appear more fluid
Bug Fixes
- Weapons and tools are no longer missing textures
- There were situations where the vault UI would not show up while you were in your Warehouse base
- Fixed a few different Pursuit related issues (time lockouts, looting capabilities)
- Resolved an issue related to adding attachments to the M4 and the Dahlia would make them appear weird, and also make them unable to be usable in your loadout
- Fixed a situation where you were unable to revive other players
- 100% more ability to select location markers on the deploy map
- The Dahlia when in ADS didn’t point where it should. It does now
- The traders went on a break, and as such, their inventories were gone. They have returned from vacation
- Sometimes when swapping weapons, it would break the UI and ammo count for the weapon
- The Warehouse base was missing the gun customization desk. It’s now there, just outside the door from the spawn area
- Fixed a situation where sometimes you’d spawn in Marova without a backpack
- Fixed a couple of bounty issues related to information being correctly provided and the bounty completing when the player has been killed
- Fixed an issue where what you might see another Reaper wearing is not what they see themselves wearing
- Fixed an issue in the Customization screen where parts wouldn’t correctly reflect the their quantity
- Made adjustments to the inventory to allow item swaps to correctly happen between inventory and loadout
- Cliffs in the world have less collision now (they used to have more than their asset side)
- Fixed an issue where if you were reviving someone and they also used their self-revive tool, their health would continue to tick down as if they were downed.
- You are no longer able to push your gun through an asset and shoot on the other side
- If you ADSed, then crouched, ADS would not animate correctly
- Tool icons are now 100% more correct when deploying to Marova
- Fixed an issue where if you pressed tab while you had an item dragged on your cursor, it would stay on your cursor
- Looting anything now properly reflects the name of the item you’re looting
- Resolved an issue where another Reaper shooting you would not cause hit reacts.
- Fixed an issue where certain attachments would mess up the paper doll
- Fixed an issue where NPCs would not stop talking when they were killed
- Resolved the right click menu disappearing as soon as you click it, as well as it showing offscreen if you selected the farthest most items in your inventory/vault

Overview
This release includes several updates to NPC behavior and interaction with players.
Improvements
- Base population spawning adjustments (both spawn volumes and aggressiveness)
- NPC movement behavior (they should path better as they move around)
- NPCs now guard their positions more closely

Overview
The focus of this update centers on several bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
QOL Improvements
- We've made several lighting updates across Marova!
- The player icon on the Map screen should now be prioritized over other POI markers, including your base.
- You can now drop items from your inventory by dragging them to the Discard area.
- You should now see a grenade indicator when you toss it/when someone else tosses one
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issues with multiple collisions and assets across Straliti and KAM
- Fixed an issue where the equip animation would play twice when mantling
- Fixed an issue where the MNV did not have full reload/tactical reload SFX
- Fixed an issue where the shadow of a player’s corpse would remain after they died
- Fixed an issue where a player's shadows would appear as running even when standing still
- Fixed an issue where selling to a Trader appeared to sell the wrong item
- Fixed an issue where players sometimes failed to bleed out properly
- Fixed an issue where your equipped weapon would still show while equipping armor plates.
- Fixed an issue on the Customization screen where it wouldn’t visually update if you were customizing an unequipped weapon.
